Deckhands are encouraged to progress in their professional development with their goal being to earn their 100 GT Masters License. Getting up early and dependability are standard! It is an awesome job but also requires incredible dedication and diligence. If you are willing to learn, are passionate about fishing then this might be the job for you! 

 

The boat is a 38 foot, custom-built Harris, powered by a Cummins diesel engine. The spacious cabin is very clean, comfortable and heated to give our customers a pleasant experience aboard the Osprey.

 

When you ride aboard the Osprey, you will be fishing with one of the hardest working full-time Captains in the fleet.

 

Job Position: Charter Fishing First Mate

 

Osprey Sportfishing Charters, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for full-time first mate position on-board the USCG inspected vessel, the Osprey, a 38 foot, custom-built Harris, powered by a Cummins diesel engine. The position will require abilities for maintaining equipment and fishing gear, assisting with docking and undocking as well as assisting the captain in the vessel maintenance, accommodating passengers while fishing and cleaning/filet of the days catch. This is a physically demanding outdoor oriented position that requires agility and stamina.

 

Successful applicants will be hardworking with a passion for deep sea fishing. Deckhands are encouraged to progress in their professional development with their goal being to earn their 100 GT Masters License.

Compensation plus tips per fishing day will be paid regularly. Plus monetary bonuses will be paid at the owner’s discretion depending on ratings and feedback on Facebook, Google etc.
